Visa Information to Nepal

All foreign nationals, except Indian citizens, are required to have a valid visa to enter  Nepal. Visa can be obtained by visiting the South Australia Consulate office or by sending all required documents by mail. 

The Nepalese Consulate office in South Australia issues the following tourist visas to Nepal.  For all other visa types and requirements please visit Embassy of Nepal.
 
 
* Children under the age of 10 will not be charged for the visa up to 30 days.
 
Important Information :
 
Visa must be utilised within 6 months from the date of issue.
 
Visa once issued cannot be withdrawn and visa fee will not be refunded after visa is issued.
 
Requirements for tourist visa application.
 
 
Applying in person:
 
Please submit following documentation at the South Australia consulate office between  9 am to 12 noon Monday to Thursday. Our office is located at 133 Portrush Road, Evandale 5069, South Australia.
 
 
Fully completed one (1) visa application form
 
Your current passport valid for at least six month
 
One recent passport photographs attached to your form
 
Visa fee as applicable payable by cash or by bank cheque/money order. If paying by bank cheque/company cheque/money order please make cheque payable to Nepalese Consulate in South Australia. Personal cheques and credit cards will not be accepted.
 
Return self-addressed Yellow Express Post envelope or a Registered Post envelope (required).
 
Visa will be issued within 4 business days from the date of receipt and posted to you in the envelope provided.
 
Please advise if you’re applying for the “On the spot/Urgent visa”.
 
 
Applying by post:
 
Please mail following documentation to: Nepalese Consulate in 133 Portrush Road, Evandale 5069, South Australia, Australia.

Visa fee as applicable payable by bank cheque/company cheque/money order. Please make cheque payable to Nepalese Consulate in South Australia. Personal cheques will not be accepted.
